Abertay University could be taken to an employment tribunal following the suspension of its principal, Professor Bernard King.

The Institute of Directors (IoD) has put forward two dozen policy changes over ten areas of Government policy which could transform growth prospects at little or no cost to the taxpayer, including a number that would directly impact on employment law.

The Government has announced the next steps in its comprehensive review of employment laws.


New plans to improve the way in which workplace disputes are resolved have been published alongside an “Employer’s Charter” – the measures are designed to give businesses more confidence to take on workers and support growth.
