A former cleaner at Dynamic Earth in Edinburgh has won her employment tribunal claim for sexual harassment, reports the Scotsman.
The woman claimed that a security guard at Dynamic Earth used security cameras to watch her as she worked, and would radio lewd comments to her. The 26-year-old said that she had reported the harassment to her supervisor, but nothing was done about it.
The employment tribunal ruled that she had been the victim of sexual harassment and awarded her £27,750 in compensation. The security guard was also ordered to pay the woman £1,000.
